We upgraded Neowin today to the latest version of IPB.

While we were at it, we changed slightly the way we manage deployments of new versions, and development on the servers, hence the extended period of downtime this afternoon.

As always, if you experience any issues, please post them in our bug tracker forum.

I was so out of it went I woke up this morning, I tried logging in at least 10 times before I saw the message about the forums being down.

Must've been only a little over an hour, is all I noticed.

I'm not a huge fan of the "downtime" message, it's just a big white blank screen, with the neowin.net header

Kind of annoying to see the login box, then instantly a white shield. Maybe an auto-message instead of this white screen?

There was a message above the login box saying an update was being done.

The Signature tab is missing from the profiles. That was there before the upgrade...put it back!

We just realized this, and Dave says he's going to look into it once we have some other things figured out.

Shouldn't be too hard - there's a mod on IPS Resources for it, it's an upload of about 3 files and you're set.

That's true, but this is an entirely new system than what we were using before. We don't want to get the live site and our beta site out of sync, even if for something simple like this that can be re-implemented easily.
