Why so long you ask?
Well... lots of pixel work is the keyword to mention (transparency cant be set just about anywhere so you gotta use tricks to make it look as if it is transparent)... and I didn't like hurry you know.
Anyhoo, here's a preview:

Tested on / Requirements:
Windows XP SP2 with only ONE user to select (this might turn out important)
LogonStudio XP / Vista, too? (which you need to use it. it's free, download it here)
My Screen is 1680*1050 (16:10 widescreen)
It might work on totally different resolutions, it should work pretty well/ok with other 16:10 resolutions.
Please just give it a try if you think the preview looks cool, if it's not working right, you can still trash it
This is my first login screen i made, logonstudio is kinda nasty here and there, but see for your self!
To download it go here.
Have fun and enjoy!
Make sure to comment me on deviantart.com or here in this thread!
mata ne!
Glassed Silver:win
PLEASE NOTE:
Yes, you don't have your username on the screen displayed (logonstudio bug prolly) Yes, I did indeed disable the shut down button and some text, etc... let's not waste our screens with stuff we dont need... a single user desktop may as well just turn off from within the start menu, instead of first logging off, huh? (you still could however simple select it by pressing the TAB key and ENTER)
