I bought a Fujifilm FinePix Z3 for £120 around four months ago and it's already knackered (was taken to a club and someone spilt beer over it) which means I am in the market for a new camera.

I have heard Fujifilm produce the best compact digital cameras for shooting in low-light conditions which is why I bought the Z3 and was happy with it in general.

Any recommendations for a new one? I am looking to spend around £100 but will pay up to £125 if I really must.

It's the F## series (not F###, but F10 to F50fd) that has the good low-light performance. I just got the F50fd and it's pretty good. Check out the F40fd, it's missing image stabilization but that doesn't work too well on the F50fd anyways. If it's too pricey, you can get the F20 (F40fd's predecessor) on eBay for pretty cheap. It actually has better low-light performance than the newer F40fd (because it has 6 MP on the same sensor size as the F40fd's 8 MP). The only real draw-back is that it only supports xD memory cards, but since your previous camera used those, I'm assuming it's not a problem for you.
