It's funny, I would love to skin Vista, but I can't due to a lack of good themes (hopefully the tango patcher will be ready soon biggrin.gif ). In Ubuntu (where I basically could change everything), however, I'm completely satisfied with how things look like and haven't really changed it for about 3 or 4 months now... oh well...

Still modded rezlooks emerald theme with the old silver Tango icons:

Arghhh... sorry, I lost the page, typed Febuary Desktop in the search and just posted! Woops... will post my linux desktop in a bit then! Never posted it before; it's not terribly interesting; just a dev machine.

yay! i'll gladly take the blame smile.gif say.. do you know if wmii is still under development? i haven't seen anything about it for a while on their homepage.

The latest snap of Wmii was on January 20th 2008, it just doesn't seem to have any major releases.
I'm just switching between Wmii and Dwm, and Wmii just has the edge for me, although the minimalist in me really likes Dwm smile.gif

I like to think that by using a virtual machine (which loads from a saved state in about two seconds) I haven't technically got IE on my PC wink.gif

What's that little weather app? It looks awesome!
KitCh
^^

It's an application called gDesklets and it's available in the repro's. Although, that particular desklets you have to download from here and then it's just a case of opening gDesklets>File>Install and just point to the file you just downloaded

Hope that helps.

It's one of those gdesklets (you can go to Synaptic, search for 'gdesklets', install it, and then go to this site: http://www.gdesklets.de/index.php?q=desklet/view/171 as this particular gdesklet is not one of the ones that is automatically installed (you can just download it and then, from within gdesklets, click File-->Install Package and install it. (It should then appear under 'Uncategorized' as 'GoodWeather Display', and you can double-click it and it will appear and you can set it up and all from there.

Remember if you want gdesklets to start with each Gnome session, you've got to go to System-->Preferences-->Sessions and add it, putting

gdesklets start

in the box for the command line biggrin.gif

SORRY! I see Kitch already answered.... lol

Looks cool (especially the taskbar), but you should definitely try the Tango-Generator... You can also configure it to use the Ubuntu Studio icons as a base, but you also get tons of other (better) icons - like a tango version of the wifi symbol smile.gif
