I see this [1] at the bottom of every news article on front page, but what purpose does it pose? It just links back to the index page....

It's a page link, but it doesn't seem to work very well because it took me back to the front page.

its using the old link style and i guess got missed when the news was updated to the nice url scheme

It looks like it uses half and half.. maybe some code was changed, and the link was never fully converted?

same page, but this is the link for [1]:

its half and half because the link is relative in the code so the browser just tags the href value onto the end:

<a href=index.php?act=view&id=45619&page=0>[1]</a>


the href attribute isn't even quoted ohmy.gif

It never got updated because the comment paging system isn't actually implemented at the moment wink.gif
