worth watching but not a very good movie in my opinion

all i can say is Rachel Bilson extremely Hot

and all i could think of when i saw Hayden Christensen was Star Wars.

Jumper sucked. Hard. The only good thing was the special effects. The rest of it was awful. I think it was adapted from a book, which may explain the plot holes and general disjointedness of the film (it seems like there was a whole lot that they left out), but Jesus, it was terrible. Glad I saw it at the matinée price.

I did get to see the (censored) Indiana Jones trailer before the movie, though, so it was pretty cool seeing that on the big screen.

How much Rachel Bilson is there in Jumper? Is it worth the £7 ($14) ticket?

This movie is bad, the trailers before the movie were more interesting!! Thought this was going to be an action packed film, but all the best action scenes were too short (imo) and just didnt make me sit up and take attention!!!

Should have made the film at least half an hour longer and i think it would have been much better!!

Just finished watching it . Don't expect anything other than a little entertainment from this movie. It ends with many plot holes. Rachel Bilson has a good number of scenes, but it's still not worth the $14 ticket.

I liked it, give it about 7-8/10 it kept me entertained thru out and i thought the little guy that played Billy Elliot was great in it! Diff left it open for a 2nd

Didn't quite make sense why the 'religious' guys wanted to kill off the Jumpers.

Making a black guy an evil authority is getting to be a tired cliche too.

A sonic boom wouldn't happen in teleportation either.

Nice scenery.

Makes me wonder what keeps Jumpers from gazing at the Moon, and accidently teleporting ...

There would be no evolutionary advantage for being able to teleport to the moon. Those that ever did possess that ability would have died as a result of doing so before passing on their genes, leaving only those without the teleport-to-moon ability left to evolve.

Was an ok-ish film, I did like the special effects, they were quite cool. 6/10 I'd say.
Also, this might be a trilogy according to wikipedia.

Trailers made the movie look a lot better. Too much pointless dialog and not enough action, the few chases and fights were very entertaining though. I have to admit that Hayden "emo Darth Vader" Christensen is one of my least favorite actors which may have affected my judgment.

IMHO, they shouldn't have cast Samuel Jackson in the same movie with Hayden Christensen and given Samuel Jackson a lightsaber-looking thing. It was like they were purposely trying to link them back to Star Wars. I do find the idea of Samuel Jackson coming back for revenge after Anakin helped toss him out of that window kind of funny though.

I enjoyed it. It definitely wasn't "Bourne" quality, but it was fun to watch none the less. Some of you need to get your heads out of your asses.

But I guess my opinion doesn't count because I get to see any and all movies for free (when they're in theaters).

The trailers for this movie definitely made it look better. The movie itself wasn't too good. It left me wondering why or how he got the ability. I rate it a 4/10. If only there was more explanation and less pointless dialogue. The action wasn't that great either.

He's joking about the difference in cost of living between California and Missouri. 1200sq ft houses don't cost half a million dollars in Missouri.

I understand but I'm not the normal missourian, my dad and mom prabably payed a CA price for our house and also I realized that I pay the student price for movie tickets so the normal price is prabably $10
And I did a little research and found out that Ca's min wage is $8 here it is $6.65, oh how I would love to have that

yah, movie tix prices are getting to be out of hand and seriously ridiculous. i remember the days where i paid 8 bux and thought it was high.

The movie lacks... everything...

It was an entertaining movie to say the least.
Though it would need a lot of things to be taken out and better things to be put in, would of been far better if me and friends weren't able to guess what was going to happen before it did.
It was defiantly an interesting concept though, and the effects were very cool.

Ok, on the serious note. This movie really lacked substance. The dialogue made me wish I could teleport out of the theater...As for the relationship, it seemed it was rushed. A good action movie. But thats about it...

Pretty good movie in my opinion but defiantly leaves a few questions to be asked. Most movies that are coming out these days are very similar to this. Nothing fancy but nothing horrible either. My Rating: 7.5/10

yeah. . there are only few quality movies. most of the film makers did movie only for the sake of money. .

I thought it was a fun film. It was interesting and fun... some of the story wasn't great, but it wasn't as silly as most people make it out to be.

I actually really liked it 9/10 for me, i didnt pay attention to the acting, i just liked the special effects (like when the weird jumper bloke did loads of teleports into sammy jackson, that was rather cool).

Didn't notice any obvious flaws in acting, plot lines not ending didnt bother me, probably because ive been doing picture editing for 9 hours today and i half dead

Mum being a paladin thing was stupid i think, ending sucked, -1 point for that.

It was decent, but the cheesy action reduced a lot of the experience. Oh well, all in all it was a good waste of time.

I liked it. wasn't bad.. wasn't terrible, a few questions here and there.. that's all.

I also really liked this movie. Yes, it wasn't perfect but it was fun and had great special effects. I look forward to the sequel.

I came into this movie with very low expectation. Very entertaining. It's clearly aimed at the younger teen adults. You should know movies like these are gonna have some major plot holes. Like if Griffin really did want to kill paladins, he could've done it with ease.

Throughout the entire movie, I kept wondering to myself what would I have done with this power. For good or for evil?
