I am in need of a microphone input booster. I remember seeing something along the lines of an input booster on newegg, but i can't find it now. My mic output is very faint, even with the 20db boost. Any ideas? I have a Creative Audigy 2 sound card too.

What mic is it? Does it require need phantom power?
If you just mean a simple 1/8" jack PC mic, try the mic booster in Volume Control (Under Windows)

Its a simple 3.5mm mic, and i already have the 20db boost enabled in Windows. I'm looking for some sort of input amplifier.
