Hi, Ive just began messing around with videos, like ripping dvds onto my computer and burning dvds and stuff like that, and what I want to know is, what would people recomend as the best free video converting software if there is any? All I want is it to be to convert to majority of file types.

SUPER converts pretty much anything to anything.

MediaCoder also.

Another vote for Super. But the interface does assume a certain level of knowledge.
