Not a terrible film, but it could have been better. An ok action film and a great plot, but the story itself could have been played out in half the time. The execution was poor, simply put.
The acting was ok, but not great. I was expecting more out of Matthew Fox's character, but he just didn't deliver and I think that was mainly due to a thin script.
I think the writer for this film had a great idea, don't know where he got it from, but whatever inspiration was, it was great (speaking on style of the film), but there wasn't enough twists (meaning like a Saw twist) at the ending for the style to really pay off.
Great film to rent and watch in HD, but I'd recommend going to see something else in the theater.

I thought it was a great film, had me on the edge of my seat, and the ending, where they all end up in one place was very well done.
9/10 - Highly recommended.

Good film. 7/10 - Maybe only due to the start event happening too much. I mean how many times did it clock back to 12pm, atleast 4-5?

I didn't mind it, the car chase was AWESOME, but it's not something I'll be getting on DVD or BluRay.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, Dennis Quaid finally having a non-sissy role (ref: The Day After Tomorrow), and Forest Whitaker (who IMHO is an absolute legened and just brings talent to anything he takes on.
Great film. Plus, it was only at the end of the film I realised that William Hurt (President Aston) is the guy who played Professor Robinson in the Lost in Space movie. A beard does make the difference i guess.

I couldn't get into this movie at all.
The story was so cliched it's not even funny. And the bad part is they didn't even try to make it sound convincing. They just threw the word "terrorist" in there and expected you to hate the "bad guys" when you really have no motive what-so-ever for their actions. Just random garbage that we're expected to believe without any bit of a back story.
Could the "twists" be any more silly as well? Come on. I'd like to think it'd be far harder for something that silly to actually work.
At the end of the day it was just another movie. It looked pretty, it had average acting, and average directing. It didn't keep my interest and was simply annoying to watch at times.
2/5
GREAT movie till the last ten minutes i guess how the ending unravels killed the suspense which basically built it up.... and yeh too much too-ing and fro-ing between characters ...... guess it lacked execution and yeh as ayepecks said no backsotry though i think the point of this film is to show the diff points of view at one point in time more than the story of the event ie. a recount more than showing a narrative.
6.5/10
