Any one of the Neowin staff or anyone of that matter care to share how to intergrate the Adsense for search within the search functionality of Invision? I'm willing to listen if your willing to teach or share..

Many thanks

Humpty bumpty..

All I would like to do is try to intergrate Adsense for search to work within the default search option of the board.

So when members search they get a results page of the adsense for search page.

Like the way its set up on here.. A lil help please... sad.gif

I got rid of the IPB search, and instead created my own search bar which sends the query to Google Adsense for Search. It took a while to tweak it.

If it's any help, test the search bar on my forum (BETA, of course),

EDIT: Oh, and don't use the Google Search code they give you for a search bar, you'll have one ugly bar if you do. If you want to see the code I used, PM me.

EDIT 2: https://www.google.com/adsense/login/en_US/

How well does your code work?

Isn't there any way possible of impleting the search along side IPB? With just the resulting pages showing the ads?

Probably best to just create some form of front page and just implementing the search code there.

i reccomend you to use Simple Machines forum, if im not mistaken it already has integration. (btw, nobody really uses search, wonder why theres so many crap in forums? )
