How do you get this effect? I don't quite know how to describe it. I guess the girl/hood is up close and the windshield part of the car seems to be farther away than it really is.

It's an audi A5, incase you were wondering.

Wide angle shots.

Wide angle lens + being close to the front of the car?
I guess if you looked to the car (with your eye) from the same prospective and standing close to the front, you'll get pretty much the same view, I could be wrong though.

you would get this effect standing up close to the car, wide angle lens would seal the deal

Hm, I thought it was more complicated than that! I'll have to give it a try.
You could also photoshop that effect, no?

its a fish eye lens, very expensive tho an not really worth it for the average photographer unless ur making money to pay it off.

I already have a "fish eye" lens

Tokina 12-24mm F4. If I had a FX body instead of DX then it'd be super wide.

thats not fisheye, its just a wide angle. Fisheye would distort the picture way more:

K well I'm pretty sure they didn't use a true fish eye in that Audi shot.
It's not a fish eye lens at all. It's just a wide angle, probably around 18mm or something.
