Ok so obviously images are not my strong suit, but can the red spray be taken off of this image to reveal the face? I don't think it can but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask

Not possible. At least not with conventional photo editing software. The orignal information of the face is probably over written.

If the thumbnail shows the face, then it MAY be possible.
