This movie starts off with a classic story line of a kid who moves to another town, and is instantly noticed, and eventually taken uppon by the hottest girl in town. If this sounds familiar, it was. This beginning story was almost seemingly taken from Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift. The new comer is introduced into Underground MMA (mixed material arts), from what appears to be the big thing to do in town. Big houses, big parties, and of course an underground street fighting organization, that everybody seems so interested in getting the new comer to join.
The classic plot roles in, hot girl has big time boyfriend, girlfriend likes new guy, new guy likes girl, and eventually girl breaks up with boyfriend to go for the new comer. This movie is very predictable from the beginning, but thankfully the plot and acting isn't what this movie is about! The movie is taking a couple of todays trends and putting them all into one. Rich preppy boys with lots of money and nice cars, mixed with no parents around, big houses, and UFC.
There was a few decent fight scenes throughout the movie, but most of the camera work is very hard to follow at times, and looks as if it went for the Cloverfield feel. I wouldn't recommend paying for this movie in theatres, but to wait for it to rent, or borrow off a friend. All in all, it was an entertaining movie, but wasn't anything special I would want to see again. The ending was pretty cheesey, how the cars were perfectly aligned, all facing forward with their lights on... They could of done a better job
