Wow so nice...!
Being on Vista I sure do miss the Skins... All of vista skins just seem aero-mods

Just like all the themes in XP were Luna mods at first. Just give it some time, the theme scene will expand.

Thank you.

Did you read thru the notes on the download page? I find it very helpful wink.gif

Nice, I like it. thumbs_up.gif The Winamp skin is very cool, too; skinning Winamp 2.x is a dying art.

Thanks for the comments. Glad you'll like it smile.gif

@Hugh - yes it is a dying art, but credit goes to Blueslaad, who made the winamp. The rest of the theme was done by me and Tostamistica to match with it.

Excellent skin, Nevezen!

Not to go off-topic here, but how long did it take you to create this skin?
Can you recommend me a visual guide that teaches one how to skin Windows XP?

I cant tell you for sure how long it took because I did it in bits and pieces when I had time. All depends on how detailed, originial, well-made you want it to be. Even minimalistic styles, depiste the lack of fancy graphics and gradients can take a while. Mine are more on the simple side because I use MS Paint for the bitmaps, and Im not really looking to create the next big thing, just looking to have my desktop styled a certain way, so they dont take forever to put together. But there are many other styles which are very intricate and probably took ages to complete.

As far as a guide goes, I didnt use one and I dont think there is a detailed guide around. There's a little help page on the stylebuilder website that should give you the basics. Check it out and then open up a theme with stylebuilder to experiment. It's seriously the best way to fgigure out whats going on. You could also try reading up on help topics here and on custo.org in case you come across things you need help with.

What icon set would you recommend?

Its upto you depending on whatcha like tongue.gif Im lazy so I now use IconPackager instead of icons that have to be applied individually.

Off the top of me head, these are some IP themes I use and you can find them on DA: Arzo, Vista Inspirate, Aesthetic Groove, Tango.

My friend's in the process of making a set that goes perfectly with this theme, but it's part of another suite and not yet released. You can add him to you watch list on DA so that you know when they're out. http://jg-visuals.deviantart.com/
