Any information on what will happen with the two applications as Windows Live Mesh matures?
Not yet, on the C9 C10 videos they talked about them but they weren't ready to discuss anything.

it doesn't on my region too 
Although I don't have any inside knowledge my guess is Live Mesh is going to surpercede both applications.
