I'm looking to buying a new dig camera. My price range is £100 - £150.

Any recommendations?

I am not sure how much it would cost in pounds, however I have a FujiFilm S700 digital camera (it is a DSLR-style camera, so it's not something you'd be able to tuck in your pocket), the image quality is excellent and the battery life is pretty decent as well.

Does Fuji still use a proprietary memory card standard? Anything other than SD is a turnoff to me.

We use a Fuji 9MP cam in work. It's pretty damn good too.

I'm looking for a decent, high quality, pocket size camera with a max price range of £150.

Any recommendations / personal reviews, would be much appreciated.

anything canon for point and shoot is going to be a solid choice.

Canon SD1100IS

Canon SD750

I think those fit your price range.

I am pretty sure that Fuji gave up on the xD-Picture Card standard, my camera takes SecureDigital (SD) cards. In fact, I have a 2 GB one in it right now.
