I would like to know the best video editing software for Windows?

Like Final Cut Pro for Mac... I need something for Windows..

You mean a text editor? Notepad++ is pretty good, and free.

No. I meant a video edditing software. I should have explained more in the first post.

I swear by Sony Vegas. Used Adobe Premier once upon a time, but it just wasn't good for me. Vegas is much better in my opinion.

I currently have Sony Vegas Movie Studio + DVD 7.0 Platinum Edition... Will this do or shall I pay for the upgrade to the 8.0 edition?

I haven't tried Adobe Premier Elements so... I wanna know how that is?
