Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9) Gecko/2008052906 Firefox/3.0
Is release client 2.
try going to Help-> Release Notes
Oh right yeah my version is the RC2, although in the about it says 3.0, nothing about the RC lol.

Yeah...Why doesn't it say anything about RC in Help->About Mozilla Firefox?

It always said 3.0 in the about firefox window even in RC1 but no, the latest version is RC2, not gold yet

Yeah the 3.0 thing has been in the about for rather some time now that might be the confusion on that...

Yeah...Why doesn't it say anything about RC in Help->About Mozilla Firefox?
Because then they would have to change something and rebuild it, which would make it not a Release Client.
Changing
Help -> Release Notes only involves updating the webpage.

Yeah...Why doesn't it say anything about RC in Help->About Mozilla Firefox?
becasue it would be exactly the final binary if no major bug is found.
So there's a chance that what you are using now is
exactly the same as the final release, including the About box.

I don't think the final is out yet, but you might as well use RC2 because it is definitely final quality.

"RC" equals "Release Candidate" and not "Release Client", just so you'd know

final will be out sometime this month, cant see there being many bugs left in RC2, its rock solid stable for me, so was RC1 but RC2 starts faster. By far the best browser out imo, opera's u.i is just ugly and annoying, firefox's adblock plus extension is essential otherwise i'd wanna shoot myself. Browsing just got better:)
