I guess I'm gonna get a new replacement for my heatsink, is this one good? http://shop1.frys.com/product/4635848?site...CH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Here's a list of the heasinks/fan combo: http://shop1.frys.com/search?query_string=...rom=0&to=24

The Zalman should be fine. Since you are living in California you might want to consider improving your airflow / room temperature as well.

you would be supprised how much cleaning your heasink u have (like the dust)
and repasting it down with thermal paste
that may do the trick

Just so you know (JakeeTm) thermal paste is supposed to be exactly that, thermal interface material, not a glue to hold down your heatsink/fan.

shift.
Haha okay. It kind of worries me when some users use terms such as "slap on some thermal paste" or "glue your HSF down with some thermal compound".

im sorry i put it that way
i just know that reseting it can help even heat distribution
if i said that correctly
and cleaning it with a can if air or a vaccum would help
