Haddaway
Apologies if this bug has already been raised, but for some unknown reason every so often a thread will render with the footer appearing in the middle of someone's post.

I'm not sure if this is restricted to Firefox or not, but it happens on multiple computers, both XP and Vista.

i occasionaly get this.

Same here. A refresh always "fixes" it, but why it occurs is beyond me...

I got this a few times yesterday for the first time.

This is one of those bugs, I just can not get my head around. I really do not know what causes this, as a refresh usually fixes, and its completely random.

It only appears to do this in Firefox 3. We never had this on FF2 and nothing has changed (codewise) except for a newer version of Firefox!

Errr I occasionally get it on FF2, Steve tongue.gif

Definitely a Firefox bug though - yes, it's our responsibility to work around it, but it's not our fault at least!

I actually got this on FF2 all the time. I always cleared my cache when I got it and it fixed it, temporarily.

Never got this in Fx3 to be honest, weird!

I have had this in Fx2 quite a few times, when it happens I am generally using two or more tabs (of which more than one is downloading content/pages) if thats a help, I have also had this happen in IE 8 beta but that was only once, again when multi tabs opened

Got this yesterday a bit in Firefox 3 [Ubuntu], which is weird actually because ive never gotten that before.

Firefox loads pages dynamically, so if the connection is slow perhaps it is trying to render the footer at the bottom of just what has loaded so far, as opposed to the bottom of the completed downloaded page?
NienorGT
Never got that AFAIK...
Using FX3 since Betas.

I have never seen that before on FF2, or IE7
