Hey everyone
i am a bit new in this place
and well i wanted to show you guys my rigg
not much but i am trying to find that perfect balance
heres the story i recived this pc from a friend for free !!!
and he has a gfx card called readon 9600se family
not much but i can run gta:sa maxed and play css without many problems
after its oc of course
but anyway
i am getting payed tomorow and i am gunna be buying that
so far all i have done is paint and loom up wires and add 2 fans
a bit loud but comp usualy is at 90 degrees f
so its not bad
but yes here are pics
so basicaly i want a new case
but idk yet
recomendations?
thanks for your time

To be completely honest with you, its an aging system and I don't think anymore money should be put into upgrading it. Even if you did get it for for free.

Save up your money and build yourself a new and more updated system.
JakeeTm
well im not really a hard core gamer
but i am going to keep it for other reasons and yes i will be doing a new build soon
but i am one to go for looks
and preformance
i know its olb but only like 4-5 years
and its performance is better than you would think
but i understand where u r comming from
but its basicaly a pratice piece
to try some mods out on and see what i like
and it runs super cool
so i am lookin into the "pencil trick" for amd processors
rite now the comp it running at 93 with the fans at 55%
but thank you for the advice
more replys welcome
thanks guys

93F how much is that in C? Well if you insist on spending money on it, then do case mods at the very most. Don't bother buying hardware to try and squeeze more performance out of it; you'll just end up spending more money than you need to. smile.gif
JakeeTm
thats about 33 degrees c
but yes i am basicaly just experminting with it
i see it as a hobby
i dont like this case so i am going to buy a new one
from new egg
under $50 most likley
and the graphics card im getting is $10
and i know its abilitys as well

33C is a perfectly fine temperature for your computer, I don't think you have anything to worry about yet.

Do take pictures of whatever mod you're going to do and post them here though smile.gif
JakeeTm
i plan to
and i will attempt to overclock it as well
but i know my stuff so i will take it slow
biggrin.gif
and i am picking up a 512 of ddr ram to put me at a gig
and ill be set
also from a friend prob under $15
but i will get the case and prob flip it and sell it with teh new ram and so one
to make it sound attractive and so forth
thats when ill be piecing together my new rig

jake

Well with things like this a lot of times it's personal taste.
A case that looks good to one, may look like crap to another.
JakeeTm
yes for example i hate the acrylic cases
but yeah just would like any suggestions
jake
Berserk87
the only "mod" i would do to that thing, would be drill holes in it and cram it full of blue leds laugh.gif
JakeeTm
yeah
im actually looking at a case to buy today
and ill prob do a full transfer if u buy it
i like leds
i would but this case is going to be replaced soon
so im not sure what to do atm
i will try to oc today
wish me luck

Please clean up the grammar first!. How about you cut a big hold in the side of the case as a window? Always works well. Don't get anymore fans otherwise that thing is probably gonna sound like its lifting off lol. How about some lighting to go with the window? I got a few other ideas but don't wanna bloat my post down let me know what you think and I will give some more ideas
