Full Version: Is this a *Nix application?

I found this picture on the Screenlet's (via the thread that was asking about screenlets) website, and I'm wondering if the desktop (the clock) is a *nix application... or if anyone knows where to get it.

It's remarkably similar to the Polar Clock, but the polar clock is a lot brighter, and does month as well, plus it doesn't have the cool edging around it.

couldn't you use polar clock as a background? xp still has the atrocious online webpage as desktop option.

Yeah, I'm well aware of that, but those are not as nearly as nice as the look of the one I liked, plus the software for using them is extremely buggy. sad.gif

I'm in the "gathering parts" stage for building a dual-boot system and I'll use both the Linux and M$ versions. Thanks for bringing these to my attention! smile.gif

It's a cool clock but I guess I always just prefer the standard taskbar clock that gives day, date and time. I like a desktop clean and just with a pic. biggrin.gif
