From someone who never saw the original series, I can't say for sure how will this will come off to those who have and liked it, but for a someone who hasn't, I thought it was pretty good. There were some scenes that were a little cheesy, but for the most part it will really funny and nothing that was way over the top like in a Mike Myers film for example.

Anne Hathaway is absolutely beautiful in this film BTW.

It was a good laugh. I didn't want my money back at the end of it, which is ALWAYS a good sign.

The movie doesn't take it self too seriously and thats why it works. Sure you'll probably have to forgive some acting, some story and some camera work...other stuff...wait.. THATS NOT THE POINT! The point is go and have a good time. Its pretty good!

I probably enjoyed it so much because I didn't have any expectations since I had never seen the original series and Steve Carrell films don't tend to be the best comedy IMO. So no to low expectations really helped for me

I didn't even know it was based off an old tv show until after I saw it. I thought it was hilarious. I love Steve Carell. And Anne Hathaway is super hot in this movie. Anyone else think she might need a tan though?

Well I was kinda expecting Steve Carrell to be funny (although I JUST realized that he starred in the 40 year old virgin. Yeah, I was from under THAT rock over there). Overall it was pretty good though. I didn't see the original either, and i'm kinda glad the trailer wasn't the best parts of the movie...sorta ha!

I found this movie disappointing The plot was just .. hard to follow and not very engaging.
Steve Carell should stick to The Office where he is actually funny and doesn't play such a dominating role.

It was worth a watch. Not unbelievable by any means, but it was decent.

Anne Hathaway was probably the best thing in this film.. she's so cute. The movie wasn't terrible, but far from perfect. I found somethings funny, which I wasn't expecting. This movie was all around enjoyable in my opinion. I would rate this:
