If I have some video I just want 5 seconds of it out on it's own file, and save/compress it using the original settings, what's the Best software to do this?


I don't look for all these complicated adanced settings. Just cut out the parts I need, and save it, using the SAME settings in the original video!

the word for this function is "crop", IMO
maybe search for a video cropper.

or just use WMP + K-Lite Codec Pack all the way

you should know that I used to crop 30 seconds out of a long video MYSELF, and I used
WMP + K-Lite Codec Pack
it works 100%
