I just figured out how to use my iPod Touch as a harddrive and after uploading one 4GB file into my 16GB iPod it went haywire and although everything works fine, I can't get it to connect to iTunes. When plugged in, it charges fine, but iTunes does not detect it. Obviously this large file (can't say what) affected my iPod. My other iPod (Black, iPod video 4G, 30GB) is used specifically as a harddrive and a backup source of all my music and software, thus it works fine when connected.

I know there is a button sequence which activates the iPod Touch into a system emergency restore thing, which only works when connected to a computer. Then the iPod to iTunes image appears and iTunes pops up on the computer stating the iPod needs to be restore. Unfortunately I forgot this button sequence and would like to know what it is... Thanks.

Don't you just hold the home button while turning on?

I don't think there's that many key combos you could do with just the power and home buttons tongue.gif

Lmao, I forgot!!! pinch.gif

EDIT: It is actually a bit more complicated than that. You have to shut the iPod down then when you connect it, immediately press and hold the HOME button. And I was just holding it expecting some miracle to occur... T_T
