I just couldnt find it.

I dl'd Shift awhile back but never tried it. Ive actually been usin myah os. Cus it just seems to work with everything wifey and I do.

She plays on pogo.com and I mainly watch movies and listen to my tunes.

Does Shift have the Sun jre for java or can it be easily installed without the hecticness of compilin? Also I did read somethings about VLC. But couldnt find if it has been implemented or not. Has it?

Just needin the info,

Thanx,
LT

When you browse to a site that requires a Java plug-in, Ubuntu and derivatives such as Shift will prompt you to install missing plugins. When you click it will check for availability and present you with options (I think like Sun Java 6, Sun Java 5, and GCJ - the GNU Java implementation). Pick 6, and it will install itself. Refresh the page and voila! you have Java.
