you gotta edit the colour numbers in the file called gtkrc or summin like that or the menubar file if you are using specific engines.
if the theme you use is a pixbuf engine. then just edit the menubar.png i think thats what its called. you can find all your installed themes in username/home/.themes <-- its a hidden folder.

Got my fonts as pcf files =)... only thing that blows is when gnome tries to make them italic, I guess I have to find a way to make real italics out of them. Still seeing whats good for the theme in some aspects before releasing

You use foobar2000 with Wine? Don't you find that it has awful sound quality?

Not really awful, but less quality than the windows counterpart... I just wish I could play the multichannel tracks I have and output them to the right speakers =( only stereo... its the only windows piece of software that I cant live without

. I am pretty picky about sound quality too but its a sacrifice I have made to customize the player and manage my music

Great looking desktop. My wife wanted it for her Ubuntu install. Found the GTK Luder themes on deviantart, but it was in a zip that wasn't recognized by the theme manager. Nor were the directories of theme data inside. I'll try to get it working on her computer again when I next get access to it, but wanted you to know that she really liked your desks a lot.

Unless there's resampling or other ****ery between the DirectSound sink in WINE and the ALSA output, there shouldn't be any issues with sound quality.

I can still see that one mounted partition says "WAREZ".
You could claim that it means short-speak for "where is?"

P.S. What kind of "warez" is there in Linux, anyhow?

You can (or at least you

I got Arch running in a VirtualBox with Windows XP. This is all on a 1.6Ghz system with 768 DDR RAM. I'm suprised on how stright forward everything is, every issue I had was due to something with VirtualBox like installing Guest Additions (I forgot to type mount /media/cdrom at some point and spent hours figuring it out). Then I had no sound, guess what VirtualBox sets sound off by default with the null setting, I spent at least 3 hours trying to break Arch figuring this out, it had nothing to do with arch. Anyways this was just a test run, I will be putting it on my system soon enough along with Ubuntu & Windows.
Also I can run perfect video playback with nearly no slowdowns in VirtualBox, I didn't think it was possible.
Running default, openbox & lxpanel with conky.

Is it possible to get this vim layout config file?
Quote - (eck0 @ Jul 13 2008, 15:34)

Is it possible to get this vim layout config file?
I'm using a slightly tweaked version of the
ir_black colorsheme.
The file browser that you see in the left Vim window is
NERD tree.
The "tabs" at the bottom are screen windows, styled by this line in my .screenrc:
caption always '%{= kw} %-Lw%{= Gk}%50> %n*%f %t %{= kW}%+Lw%< %{= kG}%-=%D %d %M %Y %c:%s%{-} '
