Hi all!

I juste received this new laptop from work with office 2k3 on it and there is one little detail nagging at me!

All the files I save with office are saved using Upper case extensions (.XLS, .DOC, etc...) and I would like to change that to use lower case by default... I've done a bit of looking around and haven't found any answers!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

This might sound dumb, but, why does it matter? the extension is almost always hidden from people to start with.. and programs almost always have the "case" of the extension coded into the application and it can not be changed

It doesn't realy matter... it just clashes with all the other files I already have... and that annoys me... lol!

But since other machines on which I have office 2k3 do not save in capital, I know it isn't hard coded!

It probably sounds OCDish... but... if anybody has the solution it will be appreciated!

Come on... I'm sure somebody knows how that works!!
