I am looking for a movie editting program, well. Not a movie but something like windows movie maker because mine doesnt work. I found Imovie and I was so happy, but then I realized I didnt have a mac. I need something free. If you guys know any, please tell me. Thanks

Well for windows there are enough. It depends on the budget and how professional you want it to be.
http://jahshaka.org/ is a open source video editor, but i never worked with it so cant say how it is, but its free anyway.
For beginning/amateur editing i can recommend Sony Vegas, the work flow is so quick and i like it. It is kinda limited though for more professional editing, and its not free.

I heard virtualdub worked good as well, and its free. Just google and you find a lot more free. But im not sure if free editors are really that great. If you seriously consider doing something with editing, go for a commercial product.

Yeah, I wouldnt mind paying if I had the money, but I dont. I tried jahshaka before. Every time I tried to use it, it does what windows movie maker does and just tells me there is an error and I have to end now. I will trie virtualdub. Thanks for the suggestions.

Ulead has a nice video editing suite out. Adobe premier is also nice i hear
