I've never been able to do this in Opera, and yes I know this question is very amateur, but after all I've googled I've yet to find anything...

How can I expand (make longer) the google search bar next to the address bar? It's too small at default, I want it bigger...

Currently its not possible to make the search bar bigger in Opera.
I hope it will be a feature that is added in the not too distant future.

been looking for this since ages... now i've just added other search bars along with google.... kinda gives the same effect

If you want to be able to see everything you are typing then just use the address bar. Opera's keyword searches rock.

EX. type 'g hello world' in the address bar and it will search hello world in google. They are completely customizable to whatever search you want.


Being able to expand the search bar is not possible (as a few stated above). I bet you could mention it on Opera's forums and it will gain some attention though, I find the devs are good at watching those and getting ideas.
