SAN DIEGO — A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man caught on videotape savagely beating a puppy at the U.S.-Mexico border. cry.gif

San Diego County officials said Tuesday that X-rays on the terrier mix, named Spirit, showed the animal suffered multiple fractures to the right back leg.

County animal services director Dawn Danielson says U.S. Border Patrol surveillance cameras showed a man striking the dog at least 10 times with his fist and trying to strangle the puppy and beating it against a fence. The man then jumped back across the fence.

A Border Patrol agent rescued the dog.

When recovered, Spirit will be put up for adoption.

That guy deserves torture.

2 weeks ago I had 10 German shepherd puppies at 5 weeks old. Today the last three left. It'll be sad not seeing them every morning running around your backyard. sad.gif
