Anyone else have a similar issue? I look in iStat pro and only one fan is spinning! I've filed for a ticket, but after spending 2300 bucks on a computer I'm not overly happy. I tried an SMC reset and that but until I can bring the computer in I've got SMCcontrol running the working fan at 4000 to keep the thing at 50 degrees.

Fans are a random thing, either work or don't.

Sadly you will get some which fail. But it's rare and I'm speaking for fans for both types of computers.

About how old is your MacBook Pro? smile.gif

If under warranty, take it to an Apple Retail Store, you should be able to get it replaced. smile.gif

Repairs via the phone service line can take a while longer sadly. sad.gif
