How did you get Tile View on your desktop? I remember quite awhile ago, somebody wrote a program to do that. But nothing turns up from 'Search.' Thanks

Yeah but these are PNG's not icons and IconWrokshop doesn't convert .PNG into .ICO only .ICO into .PNG...

Hey guys, for those asking I use WindowFX by Stardock to get Tile View on my desktop. It does a lot of other cool things so you might want to check that out. I got my BeOS icons, the ones you see in my screenshots, from Xicons.com. Here's a direct link to the icons, you'll need IconWorkshop to convert them. BeOS icons

Oh and I've been really busy so no ETA on the next update. I'm maybe half way done, still lots to do. The gray scheme is looking mighty nice btw.

I must have missed it somewhere...But, can someone please post a link to the Bluecurve Shell32 package? TIA...

thetruth: the rainlender skins you've put together aren't working for me or something. the font you've included is installed on my system and all that good stuff. when i apply the skin, rainlender just disappears. any input for how these should be installed? and rye7x: are you going to release yours?

Did anyone made a WMP9 minimode skin (you know the thing in the taskbar)? Hmm now that I think of it, Classix has a thin taskbar so it would prettymuch screw up the thin taskbar.

Nevermind.... unless someone is willing to give it a shot (maybe I'll do it myself).

i like the classix normal taskbar. usually small bars smoosh the quicklaunch icons. anyways, someone let me know about that rainlender problem. for some reason, it just won't let me load the classix skins.

you might want to adjust your X, Y coordinates.

that's all i can think of for now... my default position on my skin is near the bottom right hand corner of a 1024x786 screen.

well unfortunately. that doesn't work either. i've got a 1024x786 screen resolution setup, and it completely disappears. are things missing from the skin or something? it's weird. the second i apply a classix skin, it disappears. when i try to restart the program, it won't load until i clear the classix skin from the rainlender > skins directory. any thoughts?

ahh... you know what? my fault... all my references were to my C:\Program Files\Rainlendar directory... so if you didn't install to that dir, Rainlendar couldn't find the .bmp for the background.

I've 'fixed' it in this .zip file, just unzip into the directory \skins (the path will be \rainlendar\skins\ClassixTheTruth)

Try EUSMIS (the icon set by [saint dark]; looks great with Classix!).


Well, gigatexel is working on a grey version. If that's not what you want, you're gonna have to recolor it yourself and make it a mod because gigatexel and [saint dark] can't make a color for each of you.

i love this Classix theme, i was looking for it all over the place and it juss ended up bein at neowin, the site i check out da most, , ! awesome theme.

Yea. gigatexel and [saint dark] have worked hard on this theme, and all the skinners and staff have been up and at 'em doing the new color schemes and stuff. This has really become a community project. I'm sure giga feels proud his theme has gotten this far.

Hey art. I have a request for you. Since Winamp 2.9 came out, the Video (and Media Library if people use it that often) window(s) needs to be skinned for Classix. It would be awesome if you could do that.

giga said there is no ETA..It may be weeks before we hear anything...

And we're all cool with that. He's got a lot of work on his hands with the True Black and Grey color schemes. Take your time.

I just completed Classix - Ergo for Windows Media Player 9, I will upload it on my site once they are all complete.

I am not sending any one early copies so just be patient and wait untill there all finished.
