Update 3/26/03 - Fixed Blue and Green Shellstyles, start button changed to the one with 'Start' text, minor cosmetic fixes.

Update 3/25/03 - New start menu, new startbuttons (alternates with 'start' text can be found in the 'Goodies' folder), Gray color scheme added, Black color scheme made darker, winamp skins updated for 2.9, taskbar buttons now vertically aligned when taskbar is on top for non-SD version, wallpaper updated, 1 new wallpaper for the Gray scheme, bsplayer skins added, other minor fixes.

Personal use aside, please ask for permission before you start any work using my bitmaps, wallpaper or anything else I've created and do it by pm or email, not in this thread as it will likely be missed. This includes art's winamp skin, if you use any part of it to make a skin for another program you must ask him first. Thanks and good job to those who have contributed to Classix.

You have to use reshack to edit explorer.exe, replace bitmap#167 (if your using pro, not sure about home) w/ the new ones from classix

In explorer, the left pane font size is fine, but the right pane is like waaaay too small.. How can I fix?!

A shellstyle is the file tha handles the appareance of the advanced task, you can enable them in the folder properties

Okay, so there's no way to fix it? Because I can't read a god damned thing man, my eyes are KILLING me.. aghhhhh it ****es me off cause the THEME is perfect, then I can't even browse through my comp without going blind.

try to increase the fonts size in the appareace/advanced button in nyour desktop properties

Okay, cool, I just switched the whole font System to Large Fonts, which kind of doesn't coencide with the Trillian Skin I'm running, but it fixes the font problem. But.. is that a bug?

I wish I could keep the title bar font sizes "small" but have the explorer fonts the same size. Hmmm.. crappy world.

proph: I believe if you change the Icon font size it should fix the problem somewhat (be warned this affects both font size in Explorer windows but also on the desktop).

Ah okay what worked well, is setting the msstyles settings to "Large Fonts" and then going into the Advanced section and setting Active/Inactive Title Bars to the Verdana 7 point setting. Then all explorer fonts and desktop fonts are at size 8. Sweetness.
