hey guys
i keep on getting messages from unknown people
(see attached pictures)
and they seem to be virus or some sort of publicity

then they have been coming very often
and it really annoys me
is there any way to stop these?
but i wouldn't like to block all messages from unknown senders

I recently had to change my setting to block messages from people that are not on my list......used to be fine but lately i've been getting a lot of those

yeah, i know
there has been really many many of those lately
and it's annoying

In the new version of WLMessenger (9 beta) there's an option to report them as spammers. Try it, maybe it will help you (and others, too)!

Do you guys have this option checked? (Tools > Options > Privacy > "Only people on my Allow list...")

I've never had a random person instant message me.

I've actually been getting these on AIM as well, had to change my settings to only people on my list.

i know about the
Tools > Options > Privacy > "Only people on my Allow list...") setting

it's just..... because i accidentally deleted contacts from my list
so, if they message me, i would like to be able to receive them

but I just simply hate those spam messages
