Full Version: Remove or hide the favourite links pane from explorer

I've searched everywhere for this seemingly simple question with no answers. I want to completely remove the favorite links pane from Windows explorer (not replace it with folder view). It's useless to me and just takes up space, surely it can be hidden?

Thanks.

I think you click on the Organize drop-down menu, go down to Layout and then click on Navigation Pane to disable it. Then you go to Folder Options and apply to all folders? I'm still learning Vista, I hope this is what you mean.

Ah, thank you! Not sure how I missed that one. I too am still finding my way around Vista.
