I know you can use cdisplayex to show .cbr and .cbz thumbnails in explorer but it doesn't seem to work on 64 bit os's anyone know any alternative ways to show them in explorer. I'm using comicrack as well but I don't want to open another program to see the covers of my manga and comics.

I tried the app found
here, but with no luck.
I've placed the dll in
%windir%\syswow64 and then tried registering it with regsvr32, but it fails with an error 0x80020009... I've tried taking ownership of the dll, but that does not change the outcome. I'm stumped.
Using Windows 7 x64. Might be different in Vista, though.

I've also got the same problem in Windows 7 64. Can't get the cbz/cbr thumbnails to work properly. It only displays the icons.
(Tried CDisplayEX and Comicrack and a few workarounds)

*BUMP*
Hey guys, same problem in Windows 7 64.
One thing I've noticed is that, if you use the Open dialogue in Cdisplay, the thumbnails will be generated (somehow only for cbz, not cbr, supposedly this depends on teh fact win has built in support for zip, not rar) and will be visible via explorer. So, there IS a way.. just need someone to find a way..
