Hi guys,

I am searching for a Firefox Extension, that provides different workspaces within Firefox. I need to assign different tabs to different workspaces (work, college, fun, etc), so Firefox gets a little more clear. Maybe you have some ideas. Thanks a lot!

Prism maybe?

i thought prism was the FireFox equivalent to what chrome does when you just create an app out of a page.

You could just run different instances of Firefox for that purpose. Or you could just make a new window and just organize each window for a different purpose.

I tried that already, but I get confused with multiple instances, cause they look just too similar. The solution I use now is kind of the same, though: different browsers for different purposes. Firefox for fun, Chrome for college, Safari for research.
Thist ain't a solution either, but it works 'good enough'.

I don't know of any extension that does what your looking for, i would also think that firefox would spike way high on memory doing that.
The only thing that comes to mind are multiple windows or multiple profiles.

Also you could just run multiple desktops each for work, college, fun, etc and load firefox that way.

Maybe Profiles ??? Doesn't Firefox save all the settings in a user profile ?? Maybe you can have multiple profiles and just load a different profile everytime ... Not sure if its doabl , I never tried it so maybe someone with more experience can add to this post or correct it because I might be misinformed

Grouped tabs perhaps? There are a few different extensions which can do this:
