Hi guys, I have some questions

First: Can Windows lock the icons at their specific location? Sometimes Windows is messing up my carefully placed Icons, and I can't find anything anymore. Don't know why this happens, but it does :-/

Second: Does a program exist, that enables me to quickly mark folders or files with color? (If you have no idea what I'm talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3YZvTnOqGg)

Thanks a lot!

I would like to recommend Fences. It will allow you to create groups of icons, and the Fences can be locked in place. It's a great way to organize you icons, and it's free. smile.gif

Thanks. Reminds me of KDE4 in some way.

FENCES is keeping atleast the Desktop tidy most of the time, but I can't find anything in terms of marking files or folders. Even alternative Explorer-like programs don't offer this feature. Did I miss something?

You could try this --> http://www.foldermarker.com/folder-marker-free.php
