Hopefully this fixes a memory leak/what ever you want to call it.

Two Neowin tabs open, NO addons of ANY kind, and it's insanely high.

That's a fresh install of it too.

If it's still there in the next build. they lost me as a user.

Wow! I am using this new version and I have some extensions installed with 4 to 6 tabs open I have less than the half of your memory usage.

Yeah, now with one tab, it's a little lower, but still insanely high.

Hmmm... I was just wondering how much memory you have cause for me 50 MB with 4 to 6 tabs is not that much.

4gig,

To me though 102MB for two tabs is way too much.

Mine doesn't use nearly that much for two tabs, try running firefox ins safe mode or disabling extensions one by one and see if mem usage changes. Mine's been open for 4 hours and has 5 tabs open and its using 101 right now.

102 isn't that much anyway especially with 4 gigs of ram. Open your task manager I bet ~70% of your ram is free...
Complaining about mem usage is a bit ridiculous these days if you have that much ram especially.

At the time of that screen shot, there was no addons. it was a fresh install of Fx.

Updated. Memory usage with 9 tabs open went from 250mb down to 140mb. Might just be a fluke though since I had Firefox open for a few hours.

Either way, the update is out.
