would there be a way to remove the title bar from fire fox and put theminimize maximize and close buttons some where else on the browser?

Ahh, this is an interesting idea - it'd give more valuable vertical space. It's a shame I don't think it's possible with an extension/userstyle

Try the Hide Chrome extension:

You wont have a restore/maximize button though.
You could also try the Chromin Frame extension:
