If I visit this page using Internet Explorer 8, the browser crashes : http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/po...or_hd4870/6.htm

The version is 8.0.6001.18783, running on Vista SP2. The following add-ons are installed :

Showckwave Flash Object 10.0.22.87
Adobe PDF Link Helper 9.1.0.163
Java™ Plug-In SSV Helper 6.0.140.8

The rest are the standard Microsoft add-ons, Research, help, etc.

It makes IE8 on Windows 7 lock up as well, even with all add-ons disabled.

I used IE 8 (64 bit) in Win 7 RC and it worked fine ....

It actually appears to be a javascript problem. The site comes back to life after a bit with a prompt asking to disable javascript.

Hm, just tried it again and it doesn't lock up huh.gif . I've had it lock up at least ten times before posting this, however.

It might be some javascript brought in through a banner or something like that. That would explain why it only happens sporadically.
