When on certain web sites, such as bing (web search results) or IGN I notice that when I scroll visible tearing will occur horizontally to the point where you can even see the line. Most sites don't do this nor other browsers on those sites. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or if it's just me.

On another possibly related note I've noticed this tearing happens in Irfanview as well when I view very high resolution images and pan around.

I had something similar once, but it happened whenever I scrolled anything. I just updated my graphics drivers and it was fine.

I have been seeing this recently too, it happens only in firefox. I think it started when i started using 3.5 rc1 but I am not sure.

Yup, update your video drivers. Also, make sure smooth scrolling is turned on.

Yeah, I've only seen it happen since I updated to 3.5.

Smooth scrolling is turned on, but I'll update my drivers and see if that helps.

I am pretty sure it is not to do with video drivers as we both noticed it since we had moved to 3.5, looks like we will have to wait for an update.

Updated my graphics card drivers, it helped a little bit, but it's still noticeable.

Here for example, when scrolling past the comments section, the text almost jumps as it is redrawn. Once again using Firefox 3.5 with the default smooth scrolling enabled.
