Most probably this is the build which will make it to Alpha 2

According to Firefox 3.6 Roadmap , Alpha 2 is not mentioned , so this MAY mean that this is a BETA 1 Build

Quote -
Alpha 1 (early August 2009)

Beta 1 (early September 2009)

* all UI iteration pieces landed
* string-complete for localization

Beta 2 (late September 2009)

* polish release
* all major stabilization issues resolved
* final API changes for add-on developers

Release Candidate (mid/late October 2009)

* aiming at final release for November 2009

MOREOVER , this build has 3.5 Icon!

No files or anything that be used by the general public without compiling, jumped the gun a little eh?

That's always the newest 1.9.2 build (i.e. Firefox 3.6 or whatever). There's nothing much new in 1.9.2 at the moment, compared to the changes from 1.9.0 to 1.9.1, it'll be more front end rather than web compat stuff this time..

wahaha, read it and weep, bogas04. only for Windows CE, the "mobile" version of Windows.

wait for the Firefox 3.6 beta 1 candidates to come out which will be available for the PC versions of Windows (Win2k/XP/Vista/Win7). hopefully they'll be available by the end of September.

the link now points to the Firefox 3.7a1pre nightly builds, Luis. The FF 3.6 alpha 2 builds are no longer available from that link as Mozilla has posted up FF 3.6b1pre builds.

No update on an official beta? They said September, now we're in October.

Mozilla has to learn to speed up it development process, going far far to slow at the moment.
