i know this isn't a solution to your problem but why don't you just use chrome?
Chrome is too "light" in my opinion.
That's why it's better. I mean the look of Chrome reflects the philosophy behind the making of the program.

I'm almost positive you can't without building Firefox yourself. You may be able to with an extension but definitely not with a theme.

Would require a good amount of programming work as you need to initialize non-client area space, manually handle the close min max buttons, move everything up without breaking the layout, etc.
The closest thing that I have seen is called Chromifox. Doesn't do anything to the top bar of the window, but it does look sorta like google chrome. Most likely the closest you're gunna get using firefox.
ChromifoxHopefully this is more helpful than just asking why you'd wanna do this...haha

You could try
https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/9256 but it might remove the Aero blur.

it did exactly what i wanted but it was very glitchy. and removed aero snap. bookmarked it because later builds might fix this issue.
Edit found another one which worked . thanks i did not know there where called captions

Yes I had got one extension which removes title bar. But due to that we loose basic functionality of maximize and restore by double clicking the title bar.
Recently I was playing a lot with that stuff to get Chrome like look. Coz I like looks of Chrome and Features of Firefox and I guess this is the same case with most of them.
Below are the things you need to install to get look same as Google Chrome.
Theme: Chromifox Extreme 3 (Recommended)
Add-ons:
1. Personal Menu 4.2.0 (Recommended)
2. Chromin Frame (To replace Title Bar with Tab Bar)
3. autoHideStatusBar

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/13505/there is no areo support which is a pain, but its still under development
Chromin Frame -
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10091Buggy extension, but it provides the closest look to Google Chrome.
There are several ad block-esque extensions available for Chrome. They don't work as well as Ad Block, but they work enough for me to use Chrome.
What about getting rid of the menu bar? there's a lot of wasted space the way it is.

I agree that is the reason why it is better than that.
So if you don't like it and what something else how about trying the Chromifox.

Simulation prêt
Chromifox isn't really all that good. It has the aesthetics but not the functionality of the interface.
