99% of all my thumbnail icons have been changed to the same picture...why?...and how do i change them all back to default w/o going through every freaking icon one by one?

think its caused if you do that alt 255 thing to change desktop icons to display no text. Happened on mine. I just renamed them and reassociated the correct icons

Try power toys . re-build icons? Might work...

thumbail icons? search for thumbs.db on whole HDD and delete all these files
