  1. illegaloperation added a post in a topic "Settings" versus "Control Panel": Which done do you prefer?

I am guessing that "Settings" is designed for non-tech-savvy people who just happens to be a very large majority.

"Settings" versus "Control Panel": Which done do you prefer?
Windows 10 has the new "Settings" which is much improved from PC Settings in Windows 8. And of cause, "Control Panel" has been around since Windows 2.0.
    Which one do you prefer?

    Run "Disk Cleanup".
Click on "Clean up system files"
    Clean everything
    Run media creation tool again.

  4. illegaloperation added an answer to a question Bios only shows 4GB instead of 12GB??

When some of the RAM is not detected, the first thing I check for are bent pins.
This is by far the most common issue.

    Android is barely open source

IE could have been competitive, but it was updated too infrequently.
Open source isn't the magic bullet you think it would be. Firefox is open sourced and what good did that do?

In the English language, there's an idiom that said "Don't judge a book by its cover".

    Chrome is dead! Oh, wait!

Why does this even needed to be asked?
It's a one first generation product: of cause it's not going to have all the features of mature products.
That question that needs to be asked is: "How fast the development of the new browser will be?"
Chrome was an immature product going up against Firefox, a mature product, yet we know how that turned out.
The development of Firefox was too slow to address the threat that is Chrome.

If abortion is banned, we will have more cases like this one:

  10. illegaloperation added a post in a topic Disable require password on wakeup (Windows 10)

I used "netplwiz" to set auto login, which is the same thing as "control userpasswords2"
Currently, Windows 10 boot directly to desktop (auto login), but when I put the computer to sleep and then back, I am asked to type the password.

Both disabled. I' ve never had this issue until I've upgraded to Windows 10

My hometown has a higher than average rate of teenage pregnancy.
My aunt just adopted a baby and isn't looking to adopt another and there just aren't many other people in town looking to adopt babies.
So how about you take some personal responsibility and adopt them?
How about all you anti-abortion people put your names on a list?
Each of you will then be assigned by lottery unwanted babies.
A fetus is not a baby just as an acorn is not an oak tree.

I already did that also. It has been set to "never". That doesn't seem to work either.

    Already done that also.

Disable require password on wakeup (Windows 10)
I've set "Require a password on wakeup" under Power Options to "no", but Windows 10 still ask for a password when coming back from standby.

  14. illegaloperation added a post in a topic Firefox doesn't support Touch keyboard

That's not really the problem though.
In Windows 10, the Touch Keyboard appears automatically in desktop apps when text fields are selected.

    Most stupid counter points ever.
    1. He doesn't plan on eating a lion
    2. Cows aren't at risk of becoming extinct.
