sticking with firefox. just like i did, since the original release, when it was called Firebird/Phoenix. i gave all other big name browsers a try for a few days, but i don't see a reason to permanently switch over.
yeah, we are not talking about it much here, as to be gentle to owners of the site (that we are used to spending a lot of time at).... but it was DUMB DUMB DUMB decision, after testing it for 6! months, to roll it out, at the same time as windows 10 comes, taking 3! days to get it working, and finally activating it to public, even while knowing that it is full of bugs....
windows 10 release should have being the top news to talk about (remember - neowin was born out of longhorn news, so this should have being a PRIORITY)
damn.... like a weight of my chest. /i am disappoint
at 3.5 mil they said that they didn't make AS MUCH as they expected. they were clearly not at a loss, but they just did not meet the profit forecasts! basically they made much less money then they hoped for, not that it took to 5-6 million sales to make the money back now they have met the forecast and then some as they sold 8.4 mil since the begging of April, and had an extra 4 month since! it is a blockbuster, even if the start was slower then they expected (at it was by no means a slow start at all... just not as fast as they hoped)
On MOBILE. there is no more "switch to desktop" link anywhere where i can see, and on the long threads, there is no "go to last page link" so you have to manually press the page number button. the page numbers showing are only like 5 pages, so to get to page 40 you have to press it 10! times. impossible to use. the normal forums are already large, and look designed for mobiles more then before.... why feed the mobiles a crippled version with less functionality. also not working is forum spy.... gives me a error page. so i only have mini spy with 4 recent threads to see what is new. makes it HIGHLY impractical to see the recent forum activity!
so, unless i am on a desktop, neowin forums are extremely unfriendly to use for me now
