Fair enough, thanks for clarifying that. I understood Pro users would be able to change the update settings. However, I'm in no 'edition fight'. Where did you get that from? And where did I say I'm unhappy that Microsoft are developing new stuff?
Yes but I still have no clue as to what you're talking about, I'm sorry. Are you're trying to insult users for getting the 'Pro' version of Windows 10 by saying it's for retrogrades? Or did you actually try to address my concern about the update process?
I'm OK with it being on by default, and even stripped out of the OOBE. I'm not OK with it being forced without any option to disable it. I'm aware of the tool, but many others will never be. Granted, most of these users will require automatic updates, but some will not want it for a variety of reasons. They could have just left an 'advanced settings' switch for it. Grateful I get the Pro version for free rather than the Home version.
