OpenSource Flashlight

Recommended Posts

I just came across this morning, and have pledged $60 (pre-ordered). How can anyone that considers themselves a geek not have a programmable flashlight ;)

Looks really cool! I would be tempted to buy the flex simply for the rechargeable battery!

Well finally showed up in the mail today, nice xmas present - going to give me something else to play with over my holiday break. Took only a few minutes grab the software and upload some demo code. Even combined some demo code with the factory code - so I can officially say I have programmed my first "flashlight" ;)

Here is ****ty pic from work BB showing it connected via usb to upload program and charge.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who misread the title?

No. no your not

The picture also doesn't help :D

Although cool geek gadget (Y) not sure I could justify having one but it doesn't mean I can't lust after it :D
